Millwall Surge Ahead with Early Goals Against QPR in First 17 Minutes

Millwall launched their match against Queens Park Rangers (QPR) with remarkable intensity, scoring twice within the first 17 minutes at The Den. The early goals by D. Mazou-Sacko and C. Neghli quickly established a dominant position for the home side, energizing the crowd and setting the tone for the encounter.

Just three minutes into the game, Mazou-Sacko capitalized on an early chance to put Millwall ahead, delivering a dream start that boosted the team’s confidence. This swift breakthrough allowed Millwall to maintain pressure on QPR, pushing forward aggressively and controlling the tempo of the match.

In a significant development, Neghli extended the lead in the 17th minute with a composed and energetic finish in the attacking third. His goal reinforced Millwall’s early dominance and placed QPR under immediate strain. The contrasting roles of the scorers—a defensive midfielder followed by an attacking midfielder—highlighted Millwall’s balanced approach in both defense and offense during the opening phase.

Millwall came close to increasing their advantage when Neghli made another threatening run, but his lofted shot narrowly missed the target, sailing just over the crossbar. Meanwhile, QPR showed resilience despite the early setbacks, gradually raising their intensity and striving to regain control as the first half continued, aiming to level the score and shift the momentum back in their favor.
