Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif participated in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey, where he held multiple meetings with prominent world leaders on Friday. These discussions centered on regional stability, diplomatic relations, and global uncertainties.

During the forum, Sharif engaged in informal talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa. He also met with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, as well as former Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani.

The Prime Minister’s Office described the meetings as taking place in a cordial and pleasant atmosphere, with Sharif remaining a central figure among the attending dignitaries. The conversations addressed both regional and global developments.

Sharif is slated to join a leaders’ panel titled “Mapping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainties,” where he will share Pakistan’s viewpoint on pressing global challenges. Additionally, he is expected to attend the forum’s opening ceremony.

On the sidelines, Sharif met Massad Boulos, Senior Adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump for Arab and African Affairs. During this encounter, Sharif extended greetings to Trump and recalled their previous cordial interactions. He also acknowledged Trump’s leadership in facilitating ceasefires between Pakistan and India, as well as in Lebanon.

The discussions included regional developments and peace initiatives, including the so-called “Islamabad talks,” though no further details were disclosed. Boulos reciprocated with greetings from Trump and commended Pakistan’s contributions to regional stability. He also expressed interest in enhancing cooperation with Pakistan in counter-terrorism, economic growth, and multilateral diplomacy.

Separately, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held bilateral meetings with officials from Algeria, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Cyprus, and Singapore. In his meeting with Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf, Dar discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional issues. Attaf praised Pakistan’s efforts in supporting ceasefire initiatives and promoting dialogue for peace and stability in the region.
