    Microsoft has announced that it will discontinue its Outlook Lite application on March 31, 2024. The app, designed to provide a streamlined and data-efficient email experience, was aimed at users with limited device storage or slower internet connections. Since its launch, Outlook Lite has served as a practical alternative for users in emerging markets or those with older smartphones.

    In a significant development, this shutdown reflects Microsoft’s strategic shift towards consolidating its email services under the main Outlook app, which offers a broader range of features and integrations. The company encourages users to transition to the full Outlook application to continue accessing their emails and calendars without interruption.
