In a significant development, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, Dr Muhammad Faisal, announced the signing of a pivotal agreement with Gerry’s Visa Services Ltd. This deal appoints Gerry’s as the sole authorised partner to establish a nationwide network of Facilitation Centres dedicated to delivering consular services across the United Kingdom.
The initiative, approved by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aims to prioritise the needs of the overseas Pakistani community by enhancing the accessibility and efficiency of services. It specifically targets the elimination of unauthorised and fraudulent visa and NADRA facilitation centres that have been operating throughout the UK.
Under this agreement, Gerry’s Visa Services Ltd will exclusively operate authorised centres, providing a broad spectrum of consular services. These include visa processing, passport issuance, NADRA-related documentation, and attestation services, all designed to streamline and secure the experience for Pakistani nationals abroad.
Dr Faisal highlighted the significance of this partnership, emphasizing that it is focused on putting overseas Pakistanis first. By decentralising essential services through a trusted partner like Gerry’s, the initiative aims to reduce the need for long-distance travel, making consular access faster, safer, and more convenient for the two million-strong Pakistani diaspora in the UK.
Afzal Wali Muhammad, Chairman of Gerry’s Visa Services, expressed honour in being selected as the exclusive partner for this transformative project. He committed to delivering world-class, transparent, and secure services nationwide. The first Facilitation Centre is scheduled to open in May 2026, with plans for phased expansion to cover all major regions across the UK.
Further information about the locations, available services, and appointment procedures will be shared in the upcoming weeks, marking a new era in consular support for Pakistanis living in the United Kingdom.
