Controversial influencer Clavicular, known for promoting “looksmaxxing,” sparked widespread concern after a livestream on April 14 showed him appearing increasingly unwell. The 20-year-old, whose real name is Braden Peters, was streaming live from Miami alongside other influencers when viewers noticed alarming signs of distress.
Throughout the broadcast, Peters exhibited disorientation, slurred speech, and repeatedly described himself as “destroyed,” which raised immediate alarm among his audience. The footage captured him moving between various locations before settling at a bar, where his condition visibly worsened.
During the stream, fellow influencer Androgenic questioned Peters about any substances he might have taken. Peters became progressively unresponsive and struggled to maintain alertness. Shortly after, the livestream abruptly ended without explanation.
It remains uncertain what substances Peters may have consumed prior to the incident. Meanwhile, Androgenic revealed that the situation deteriorated rapidly after the stream cut off. He noted that Peters went from speaking to being largely unresponsive within seconds, prompting those present to end the stream and rush him to the hospital.
In a significant development, this incident has intensified scrutiny of Peters’ online persona and the “looksmaxxing” community he advocates, which focuses on extreme measures to enhance physical appearance. Peters has faced prior criticism for encouraging dangerous behavior and has been associated with controversial online figures. Notably, he was arrested last month on battery charges.
Following the event, social media has been flooded with messages expressing concern and questioning the circumstances that led to the suspected overdose.
