Interior Minister Praises Flawless Security Coordination in Islamabad Talks

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has lauded the exceptional professionalism, coordination, and vigilance demonstrated by Pakistan’s security and civil institutions during the recently concluded Islamabad talks. This high-level diplomatic event attracted significant national and international focus to the capital.

In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), Naqvi extended his appreciation to the Pakistan Army, Punjab Rangers, Punjab Police, Motorway Police, Federal Constabulary, Capital Development Authority (CDA), Islamabad Administration, and Islamabad Police. He highlighted their seamless joint efforts that maintained a peaceful and tightly controlled environment throughout the proceedings.

The Islamabad talks represented a major diplomatic and strategic engagement hosted in the federal capital amid intense global and regional attention. Pakistan played a crucial facilitating role in this sensitive international dialogue.

As part of the official security arrangements, the capital’s Red Zone was placed under a strict lockdown. Thousands of personnel were deployed across vital routes, government offices, and diplomatic venues. The coordination between multiple civilian and paramilitary agencies was pivotal in managing movement restrictions, securing foreign delegations, and preventing any security breaches.

Officials emphasized that the talks demanded an unprecedented level of inter-agency synchronization, as Islamabad simultaneously hosted foreign delegations while maintaining routine governance under heightened threat perceptions. The success of this operation is being regarded as a clear indication of improved civil-military cooperation in handling large-scale national security events.

Naqvi’s remarks also align with the government’s broader agenda of reinforcing internal security frameworks. He underscored that the peaceful conduct of the talks reflected institutional maturity and bolstered public trust in Pakistan’s security apparatus during critical diplomatic moments.
