Michael Jackson’s Sons Impress at Berlin Premiere of His Biopic

Michael Jackson’s sons, Prince Jackson and Bigi Jackson, made a rare public appearance as they walked the red carpet at the Berlin premiere of the biopic “Michael.” The event also featured several members of the legendary Jackson family, who gathered to honor the late pop icon.

Prince, aged 29, paid homage to his father with a classic black suit paired with a red shirt and black tie, reminiscent of Michael Jackson’s 2002 “Dangerous” tour outfit. His younger brother, 24-year-old Bigi, chose a black suit highlighted with gold stripes and wore an armband showcasing one of Michael’s iconic poses, further emphasizing their tribute through fashion.

Joining the brothers were Michael’s siblings Jackie Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, and Marlon Jackson. Jermaine’s sons, including Jaafar Jackson—who portrays Michael in the film—and Jermajesty Jackson, as well as Randy Jackson Jr., were also present. However, the premiere was notably marked by the absence of several prominent family members. Michael’s sisters Janet Jackson and LaToya Jackson, along with his daughter Paris Jackson, did not attend the event.

In a significant development, the premiere took place amid reports of discord surrounding the biopic, directed by Antoine Fuqua. Janet Jackson has reportedly expressed reservations about the film, which traces her brother’s journey from child star to global music legend. It was revealed that Janet had a tense confrontation with Jermaine Jackson during a private screening, where she criticized various elements of the movie, including the performances, makeup, and dialogue. Notably, Janet is not featured as a character in the film, while LaToya is portrayed by actress Jessica Sula.
