    Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Economic and Strategic Partnership

    Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted Pakistan’s determination to enhance economic and strategic relations with Saudi Arabia during a high-level meeting with Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan on Thursday. The meeting, held at the Prime Minister’s House, marked a renewed drive to deepen bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

    During the meeting, the prime minister extended his respectful greetings to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, recalling his recent warm and cordial discussion with the Crown Prince. He acknowledged the Kingdom’s sustained economic and financial support, emphasizing its crucial role in maintaining Pakistan’s economic stability. PM Shehbaz reaffirmed that both the people and government of Pakistan have consistently stood in solidarity with their Saudi counterparts through all challenges.

    Shehbaz Sharif underscored Islamabad’s firm commitment to broadening collaboration in key areas such as trade, investment, and overall economic development. In response, Finance Minister Al-Jadaan expressed gratitude to the prime minister and reiterated Saudi Arabia’s dedication to strengthening the longstanding and deeply rooted fraternal ties between the two countries, aligning with the Crown Prince’s vision.

    The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Defence Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, highlighting the significance of this strategic dialogue between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
