Kumail Nanjiani is set to appear in the second season of Deli Boys, taking on a role that promises to significantly impact the show’s main storyline. The new season, premiering on May 28, introduces Nanjiani as Danyal, a defense attorney who becomes involved as the Dar brothers’ criminal enterprise grows increasingly difficult to manage.

The series centers on Pakistani-American siblings Mir and Raj Dar, who strive to control their late father’s underworld empire despite lacking any prior experience in the criminal world. Season two intensifies the stakes as the brothers face mounting pressure to handle illicit finances while evading escalating legal challenges.

Nanjiani’s character arrives at a crucial juncture, providing legal assistance just as the brothers’ situation begins to unravel. This addition is expected to bring a fresh dynamic to the narrative, highlighting the escalating tension within the storyline.

Alongside Nanjiani, the new season features several notable cast members. Andrew Rannells joins as a district attorney determined to dismantle the Dar operation, while Lily Singh portrays Aisha, a character deeply connected to the core group. Robin Thede appears as a couples’ therapist, and Fred Armisen plays a powerful casino figure linked to the brothers’ dealings.

Nanjiani’s involvement has generated considerable excitement due to his international recognition in film and television. His casting signals a more ambitious and expansive second season for Deli Boys, a series already acclaimed for its compelling storytelling and authentic representation of Pakistani-American characters.
