The interaction was described as amicable and cordial, with all parties engaging in a friendly exchange. Jessica and Nick were married from 2002 until their divorce in 2006. Nick and Vanessa are now married and have three children together.
Meanwhile, Jessica announced her separation from her husband Eric Johnson in January 2025, ending a decade-long marriage. She and Eric also share three children. In her 2020 memoir Open Book, Jessica revealed that Nick was her first love and expressed enduring respect for him.
