Two New Housing Societies Approved for Government Employees in Islamabad

The Federal Government has sanctioned two new housing societies in Islamabad this month to enhance residential options for government employees and professionals. The societies in Sectors F-12 and G-12 are slated for formal inauguration within the current month, forming part of a larger initiative to meet the increasing housing needs in the capital.

This project aims to deliver well-organized and affordable housing primarily targeted at public sector workers. The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has finalized the layout plan for Sector F-12, while the design for Sector G-12 is nearing completion and expected to be finalized shortly.

Last month, the Housing Authority’s executive board granted approval for both projects, paving the way for their official launch. These new sectors will serve a broad spectrum of beneficiaries, including government officers and employees from multiple departments.

Meanwhile, development activities have already begun in Sectors F-14 and F-15 as part of ongoing efforts to expand Islamabad’s housing infrastructure. Authorities emphasize that these initiatives are integral to a comprehensive strategy aimed at managing population growth, alleviating housing shortages, and encouraging planned urban development in the capital city.
