Model Gigi Hadid has spoken out after her name surfaced in documents connected to Jeffrey Epstein, describing the mention as deeply unsettling and firmly denying any ties to him. The reference left her feeling “sick to my stomach,” she revealed in a comment that was later removed, responding to fans who raised questions online.
She expressed distress over being discussed by someone she never met, especially in such a troubling context, rejecting any implication of a relationship. The mention originated from a 2015 email exchange between Epstein and another party, which discussed how Gigi and her sister Bella Hadid rose to fame in the modeling world.
These emails were part of documents released earlier this year amid a US Department of Justice investigation into Epstein, who died in 2019 while facing sex trafficking allegations. Initially, Hadid refrained from commenting publicly, wanting to avoid diverting attention from Epstein’s victims. However, after persistent inquiries from followers, she chose to address the matter.
Hadid also reflected on her privileged upbringing and early industry support but emphasized her consistent hard work throughout her career. She categorically denied any connection to Epstein, labeling him a “disgusting human being” and stating she had “never had any affiliation” with him.
She noted that being named in the email when she was about 20 or 21 years old was upsetting and should not be misconstrued as any form of association. Her remarks come amid renewed examination of Epstein-related files and the individuals mentioned within them.
