The much-awaited teaser of the epic film Ramayana has been released, drawing a wave of enthusiastic yet varied reactions from fans. The producers strategically launched the teaser during a festive occasion, showcasing Ranbir Kapoor’s striking portrayal of Lord Ram.

Before the teaser went public, Ranbir’s wife, actress Alia Bhatt, shared her admiration for his Rama look during a virtual fan interaction. The 33-year-old star described the glimpse of her husband’s character as “out of this world” and encouraged fans to support the film. She expressed her excitement, stating, “The Ramayana unit is releasing tomorrow. It’s called the Rama unit, and I’ll be sharing it on my social media, so please go out there and support it.”

Alia further praised Ranbir’s performance, saying, “It’s absolutely fabulous. Ranbir has done such a beautiful job, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it. It’s truly extraordinary.”

Produced by Namit Malhotra and directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film is planned as a two-part cinematic saga. The teaser highlights Ranbir in his role as Lord Ram, accompanied by the tagline “Our hero Our protector.” The visuals promise a grand storytelling experience designed for the big screen.

The teaser’s caption reads: “Rama is the greatest of all time because he lived a life where the choices he made were always in the best interest of the greater good, duty over desire, and sacrifice over self. His legacy continues to enhance and empower humanity over time and bring the belief in the goodness of the human spirit to resolve all conflicts and bring peace to the world.” Ramayana Part 1 is scheduled for release worldwide during Diwali 2026.
