Cruz Beckham ignited a wave of excitement on social media Wednesday by hinting at a collaboration with the legendary Spice Girls. The 21-year-old singer shared an image blending himself and his band, The Breakers, with the Spice Girls, styled like album cover art. He captioned the post, “It’s finally happening!!! We have delayed the release of Waste Your Pain slightly, as the girls have now agreed to be a part of this song @spicegirls.”
Notably, his mother Victoria Beckham, famously known as Posh Spice, joined in on the fun by commenting, “I’m warming up!” The post quickly attracted enthusiastic responses from fans, but the playful nature of the announcement soon became apparent. Cruz’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, reacted with laughing-crying emojis, signaling the prank.
In a significant development earlier this week, Cruz revealed that he and The Breakers will embark on a North American tour. Following a series of UK performances promoting his debut album, he announced the second leg of the For Your Love tour. The tour is set to begin in Washington D.C. on July 28 and will include stops in Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
Addressing fans in a video posted on Instagram, Cruz said, “Hello fellow Breakers. We are very happy and proud to announce the second leg of the For Your Love tour. We’re coming to America and Canada. We’re excited to see you there, so get your tickets now.”
