WWE and AEW Stars Unite for Training Session at ‘The Dungeon’

The intense rivalry between WWE and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) often dominates television storylines, yet behind the scenes, the division between the two promotions appears much less pronounced. Recently, a unique training session brought together talent from both companies, providing fans with a rare look at the mutual respect and collaboration that exists beyond their scripted conflicts.

Central to this crossover was Natalya Neidhart, who hosted the session at her wrestling school in Calgary, known as “The Dungeon.” Among the attendees was former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland, whose presence alongside WWE stars quickly sparked interest online.

Photos from the event revealed a blend of established veterans and emerging wrestlers training side by side, emphasizing how professional wrestling’s competitive boundaries often dissolve when it comes to skill development and shared passion.

“The Dungeon,” co-managed by Natalya and her husband Tyson Kidd, has become a popular training ground for wrestlers aiming to refine their abilities. This latest gathering featured notable names such as Jacob Fatu, Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins, and the seasoned Tatanka.

Strickland’s participation was particularly notable not only due to his AEW affiliation but also because of the reunions that took place during the session. He reconnected with B-Fab and Ashante Adonis, both of whom have shared on-screen history with him. This highlighted how personal and professional relationships often transcend promotional rivalries despite corporate competition.

While the event provided a relaxed and cooperative atmosphere, many of the wrestlers involved are currently engaged in significant storylines. Jacob Fatu is gearing up for a major showdown with Drew McIntyre at an upcoming WrestleMania, while Natalya is preparing to face Shayna Baszler in a Bloodsport match.

Meanwhile, the tag team Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, known as the Street Profits, are expected to make their return to in-ring competition soon. On the AEW side, Strickland is regrouping after a recent loss to Kenny Omega and a shift in his on-screen character, suggesting a more aggressive direction in future appearances.

This training session ultimately underscored that despite fierce competition between wrestling promotions for audience attention, the performers themselves often share a common space defined by discipline, collaboration, and a deep dedication to their craft.
