Federal Minister Ishaq Dar suffered a shoulder injury during the reception of the Egyptian Foreign Minister but persisted in attending all scheduled high-level meetings throughout the day. He reportedly managed the discomfort with medication to fulfill his duties.

His son, Ali Dar, confirmed that Ishaq Dar actively participated in important discussions and recorded an official statement, marking the conclusion of a significant day for Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts. Despite the injury from the fall, he carried out his responsibilities effectively, earning commendations from colleagues and observers alike.

Later in the evening, around 9 PM, Dar underwent a medical examination prompted by his family’s concerns. X-rays showed that while his overall condition remains stable, he has sustained a hairline fracture in his shoulder. Medical professionals advised managing the injury with painkillers and precautionary measures over the coming days.

Dar expressed gratitude for the widespread prayers, messages, and well wishes, reaffirming his commitment to his official duties despite the setback. Officials confirmed that he will continue to participate in key governmental functions while adhering to medical advice to ensure a full recovery.

The minister’s determination highlights his dedication to public service amid challenging circumstances, emphasizing his crucial role in maintaining Pakistan’s diplomatic and administrative continuity.
