On Thursday night, Israel carried out fresh aerial strikes targeting locations close to the Pakistan Embassy and the official residence of Pakistan’s Ambassador in Tehran. The Iranian capital, which has been subjected to nearly a month of continuous bombardment, experienced multiple explosions as the conflict intensified.
The strikes took place around 8:00 PM local time, causing alarm throughout the diplomatic district. Despite the heavy bombardment near the embassy and Ambassador Mudassir Tipu’s residence, the diplomatic compound itself remained undamaged.
Officials later confirmed that all embassy personnel were safe and accounted for, with no immediate reports of damage to the embassy buildings. This development raises serious concerns about the security of international diplomatic missions in Tehran as the city endures its 27th consecutive day of aerial attacks.
Meanwhile, the ongoing escalation underscores the volatility in the region, with no indication that the hostilities will subside in the near future.
