The United Arab Emirates has witnessed the tragic death of a fourth Pakistani national amid recent missile hostilities, marking a somber escalation in civilian casualties. The fatal incident took place on Sweihan Street, located in the northeastern sector of Abu Dhabi city, an area characterized by a mix of residential and industrial zones. This occurred after air defense systems intercepted a ballistic missile, causing debris to fall and result in fatalities.

In a significant development, UAE authorities confirmed that alongside the Pakistani victim, an Indian national also lost their life. Additionally, three individuals sustained injuries of varying severity, including citizens from the UAE, Jordan, and India. The injuries reported ranged from moderate to serious, highlighting the widespread impact of the missile interception on the local population.

The Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi has been actively coordinating with UAE officials to provide support to the grieving family and to ensure the swift repatriation of the deceased’s body to Pakistan for burial. This incident adds to the growing toll of casualties linked to the ongoing regional tensions involving Iran, which have previously resulted in the deaths of three other Pakistani nationals in Dubai and different parts of Abu Dhabi.

As the situation continues to unfold, the cooperation between Pakistani and UAE authorities underscores the commitment to managing the humanitarian consequences of these hostilities. Meanwhile, the broader geopolitical context remains tense, with missile escalations posing significant risks to civilians in the region.
