In Islamabad, US Charge d’Affaires Natalie Baker held talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Monday. The discussions focused on the shifting dynamics in the region and the broader bilateral relationship between Pakistan and the United States.
During the meeting, Ishaq Dar highlighted Pakistan’s active role in facilitating dialogue between the United States and Iran, which have been engaged in conflict for the past two months. Notably, the foreign minister acknowledged the US’s support in the humanitarian operation involving the repatriation of Pakistani and Iranian seafarers through Singapore, describing it as a positive example of cooperation between the two nations.
