Sher Afzal Marwat Criticizes Corruption and Governance in KP

Sher Afzal Marwat has sharply criticized the rampant corruption within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s government departments, asserting that recruitment processes are driven by financial transactions rather than merit. He highlighted concerns over the prolonged delay in forming the provincial cabinet, alleging that ministries are effectively being sold to the highest bidders.

Marwat warned that those who purchase ministries would prioritize recouping their investments instead of serving the public interest. He emphasized the urgent need for Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to return and address internal party issues, noting that the PTI founder is currently being misinformed and kept away from critical developments.

He also condemned the current provincial leadership as inexperienced and incapable of organizing large-scale public events. Reflecting on past political decisions, Marwat acknowledged that resigning from assemblies and dissolving governments were significant errors. He stressed that securing the PTI founder’s release would require either a strong protest movement or a decisive long march.

In a significant development, Marwat warned that Pakistan is facing a war-like scenario, with ongoing tensions in the Middle East impacting the national economy. He further cautioned that without reforms in party leadership, political damage will continue to escalate, as dissatisfaction among party workers grows and mobilizing public support for protests becomes increasingly challenging.
