Medical Report Reveals Vision Challenges for Bushra Bibi

In a significant development concerning the health of the former first lady and PTI founder Bushra Bibi, recent medical examinations have revealed that she is experiencing notable vision problems. The eye specialist Dr. Arif Khan conducted a thorough assessment at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) just a day prior to the release of the report. This detailed examination uncovered that Bushra Bibi is suffering from posterior vitreous detachment in her right eye, a condition that can cause various visual disturbances.

The medical report highlights several symptoms that Bushra Bibi has been encountering, including blurred vision and the presence of black spots in her field of sight. Additionally, she has reported experiencing flashes of light and headaches, which are often associated with this eye condition. Alongside these issues, the diagnosis also identified that she has myopia and astigmatism, both of which are contributing to difficulties with her near vision.

To manage these vision challenges, the medical team has advised Bushra Bibi to consistently wear prescribed glasses and use specific eye drops and medications. Furthermore, a follow-up examination has been scheduled for four weeks later to monitor her condition and adjust treatment if necessary. This approach aims to prevent further deterioration and address the symptoms effectively.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Imran Khan, the former prime minister, also underwent a minor eye procedure at PIMS. Shortly after, Information Minister Ataullah Tarar confirmed that doctors performed an additional brief procedure on Imran Khan with his consent. These recent health updates concerning prominent political figures have drawn considerable attention to their ongoing medical care.
