The Kuwait Zakat House has officially clarified that it does not maintain any presence on the social media platform Snapchat. In a significant development, the organization issued a warning to the public about the emergence of fake accounts falsely representing the charity on Snapchat and other social media channels.

In a statement released on Saturday through the Government Communication Center, the Kuwait Zakat House emphasized that any links or contact numbers circulating outside its verified communication channels are not connected to the institution. This alert comes amid growing concerns over online scams targeting charitable organizations.

The charity strongly advised the public to be vigilant and avoid engaging with suspicious accounts or making donations through unverified sources. It also urged people to refrain from sharing any links that have not been officially confirmed, highlighting the potential risks of fraud and misuse of funds.

Established in 1984, the Kuwait Zakat House was created to streamline the collection and distribution of Zakat and Sadaqa. The organization is committed to managing charitable contributions in the most effective, lawful, and transparent manner possible, adapting to the evolving needs of Kuwaiti society as well as Muslim communities abroad. This mission underscores the importance of safeguarding the integrity of its operations against fraudulent activities.
