The Ministry of Health in Kuwait has issued an official directive urging its employees currently stationed abroad to take immediate action to resume their duties. This call emphasizes the critical need to maintain uninterrupted health services across the country.
In the circular, the ministry highlighted that the appeal is driven by extraordinary conditions necessitating the rapid return of healthcare personnel to guarantee continuous patient care within Kuwait’s medical system.
Employees are required to submit an official document confirming their return to work or a notice indicating their return from leave, depending on their situation. This documentation must receive approval from both their direct supervisor and the subsequent management level, accompanied by all necessary supporting paperwork.
For those on annual leave, the ministry specified that a copy of the pre-approved leave authorization should be included, along with entry and exit records obtained via the Ministry of Interior’s “Sahel” application. The ministry underscored the importance of submitting all required documents to the Administrative Affairs – Leave Department at the respective workplace to facilitate efficient and timely administrative processing.
