The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has unveiled the updated timetable for the 2026 annual matriculation examinations, marking an important step in the academic calendar for thousands of students. The exams are scheduled to begin on April 10, with the revised schedule detailing specific dates for various subjects across both Science and General groups.

In a significant development, the Class 10 Computer Science exam for the Science Group will be held on the very first day, April 10. Following this, the Class 9 Computer Studies examination is slated for April 11, ensuring a structured progression for students in the computer-related disciplines. This adjustment aims to streamline the examination process and provide clarity for candidates preparing for these critical assessments.

Meanwhile, the Board has also issued a revised timetable for the General Group matriculation exams, aligning all papers to be conducted during the morning session. Each examination will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, allowing students a consistent schedule throughout the examination period. Students have been advised to reach their designated examination centers at least 30 minutes prior to the start of their papers to facilitate smooth entry and adherence to protocols.

Notably, the Board has confirmed that all matriculation students have already received their admit cards, a crucial document required for entry into the examination halls. The entire examination cycle is set to conclude on April 28, providing a clear timeframe for students, educators, and parents to plan accordingly. This revised schedule reflects the Board’s commitment to organizing the exams efficiently while accommodating the needs of the student community.
