Private schools across Islamabad are scheduled to reopen and recommence teaching activities starting April 1, coinciding with the conclusion of the spring vacation. This directive comes from the Pakistan Educational and Regulatory Authority (PEARA), which has issued an official notification mandating all private educational institutions within the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) to resume classes promptly.

In a significant development, PEARA has underscored the necessity of uninterrupted learning by instructing school administrations to ensure the seamless implementation of academic schedules. The authority has also emphasized strict adherence to operational guidelines to maintain discipline and safety within classrooms.

School management teams have been directed to take all essential steps to facilitate students’ return to campuses while upholding regulatory and administrative requirements. This includes guaranteeing the proper execution of educational activities in line with the prescribed standards.

The announcement effectively marks the end of the annual spring break in Islamabad, enabling thousands of students to return to in-person education after the holidays. Parents and school officials are encouraged to collaborate closely to ensure a smooth and efficient reopening process.

Meanwhile, PEARA officials have confirmed that they will monitor compliance with the notification, expecting all private schools to fully resume academic operations without any delays or disruptions.
