The family of a young man from Karachi, who tragically lost his life in a missile strike in Iran, is scheduled to receive his mortal remains at the Pakistan-Iran border on Monday. This development comes after days of coordination between the family and Iranian authorities to ensure the proper legal procedures for repatriation are followed.

Wajid, a relative of the deceased, confirmed that his brothers and other family members have already reached the Taftan border crossing to take custody of the body. The family has been in continuous communication with officials in Iran to facilitate the release and transfer of the remains.

In a significant development, Faisal Edhi, head of the Edhi Foundation, announced that all necessary arrangements for transporting the body from the border to Karachi have been finalized. The Edhi Foundation team is actively coordinating with the family, and an Edhi ambulance will be responsible for carrying the remains safely to the city.

Furthermore, to provide continuous support, the Edhi Foundation has established a camp at the Taftan border. Volunteers are stationed there around the clock to assist the family during this difficult time, ensuring they receive all necessary help and comfort as they prepare to bring their loved one home.
