Karachi to Experience Rainfall as Westerly System Approaches in Early April

Karachi is preparing for a wet start to April as meteorologists predict rainfall on April 2 and 3, driven by an incoming westerly weather system. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has indicated that this system will bring showers to the coastal city, marking a change from the recent dry spell.

The latest forecast from the Met Office highlights that Karachi will experience partly cloudy skies accompanied by mild and pleasant conditions over the next three days. This weather pattern is expected to provide some relief from the usual heat, creating a more comfortable atmosphere for residents.

In a significant development, the PMD has noted that the strong westerly system is likely to start impacting the country from April 1. Sindh province, including Karachi, is anticipated to see rainfall beginning the same day. The system may also bring gusty winds and thunderstorms, although the precise strength of these conditions will become clearer as the weather front approaches closer to the region.

Furthermore, the weather department forecasts that this system will continue to influence weather patterns across the upper and other parts of Pakistan until April 5. Karachi is expected to remain under the system’s influence during this period, with the possibility of additional rain showers later in the week. Residents and authorities are advised to stay updated on weather developments as the situation evolves.
