Gucci Mane was reportedly threatened at gunpoint during a startling incident inside a Dallas music studio, which has since escalated into a federal kidnapping investigation. The event, said to have occurred in January, involved rapper Pooh Shiesty, who is signed under Gucci Mane’s label.
What was intended as a routine business meeting allegedly turned into a violent standoff. a federal affidavit, Pooh Shiesty confronted Gucci Mane over his record contract, demanding release from the agreement. When Gucci Mane refused, prosecutors claim that a weapon resembling an assault-style rifle was pointed at him inside the studio.
In a significant development, Gucci Mane was allegedly coerced into stating on camera that he was releasing Pooh Shiesty, with the footage reportedly captured by rapper Big30. The confrontation escalated further, with jewellery, cash, and other valuables reportedly taken during the incident.
Authorities identified Gucci Mane as one of three victims present, asserting that the meeting had been arranged under false pretenses by the group involved.
