Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon recently addressed persistent questions about her marital plans during a public event in Delhi, effectively putting an end to the speculation surrounding her personal life. On March 27, while attending the event, the conversation turned to the widespread rumors about her marriage, especially in connection with her sister Nupur Sanon’s relationship status.
When asked directly about her intentions to marry, Kriti responded sharply, asking if the question came from a nosy relative, and highlighted that there is much more to life than just marriage. She made it clear that she does not want her identity to be defined by her marital status and stressed that she would only consider marriage when she feels genuinely ready.
Pressed further about a timeline, Kriti stated that she does not have a set plan and will marry only when the time feels right, emphasizing that she is not in any hurry. Despite ongoing rumors linking her romantically to UK-based businessman Kabir Bahia, neither has confirmed the relationship publicly.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, actress Yami Gautam addressed online speculation after social media users noticed she had “liked” a video that appeared to criticize Kriti Sanon’s Best Actress win at the Zee Cine Awards. Taking to X on Thursday, Yami clarified that the like was unintentional and likely accidental. She explained that celebrities are tagged in numerous posts daily, which can sometimes lead to inadvertent interactions.
Yami wrote, “It has come to my notice that I apparently ‘liked’ a reel that is condescending toward another actor. We get tagged in multiple things every day, and this appeared during an award function reference like any other tag. It isn’t true and was definitely not done consciously; if anything, it may have been clicked accidentally.”
