UAE’s Pakistani Community to Support Families of Fallen Soldiers with Financial Aid

SHARJAH – In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity, the Pakistan Social Centre in Sharjah, a prominent organization serving the large Pakistani expatriate community in the United Arab Emirates, has announced a significant financial aid package for the families of Pakistanis who lost their lives in the recent conflict. This announcement came on Thursday, highlighting the strong bond between overseas Pakistanis and their homeland, especially in times of national tragedy.

Chaudhry Khalid Hussain, the president of the Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah, revealed that each bereaved family, including those of the brave martyrs Mureed Zaman and Muzaffar Ali, will be awarded a sum of one million Pakistani rupees. This financial support aims not only to provide immediate relief but also to ensure that the families can maintain stability during these difficult times. Hussain emphasized that the assistance would extend beyond mere financial aid, focusing on the educational needs of the martyrs’ children to help them achieve their academic goals and secure a promising future.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Consul General in Dubai, Hussain Mohammad, expressed his deep appreciation for the unwavering generosity and unity displayed by the Pakistani diaspora in the UAE. He underscored that despite being thousands of miles away from their homeland, the expatriate community remains deeply connected to the sacrifices made by the fallen soldiers. The Consul General assured that the funds would be carefully managed and distributed through the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai to ensure transparency and timely delivery to the rightful beneficiaries.

It is worth noting that the Pakistan Social Centre in Sharjah has long been a vital institution for Pakistanis living in the UAE, providing cultural, social, and welfare services. This latest initiative further cements its role as a pillar of support during moments of crisis. The gesture also reflects the broader spirit of compassion and responsibility that the Pakistani community abroad holds towards their compatriots back home.

In a related development, community members have been encouraged to contribute to this cause, reinforcing the collective effort to honor the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives for the country. Such initiatives not only provide financial relief but also strengthen the emotional ties between Pakistan and its diaspora, fostering a sense of national pride and shared purpose.
