A significant fire incident unfolded at Gul Plaza, one of Karachi’s prominent commercial complexes, triggering an immediate response from emergency services. Four fire tenders were promptly dispatched to the location in an effort to control the spreading flames and prevent further damage. The blaze caused thick smoke to billow from the building, raising alarm among residents and businesses in the surrounding area.

Local police officials confirmed that the source of the fire remains undetermined at this stage. They emphasized that a thorough investigation will be launched once the fire has been fully extinguished and the site has cooled down. “We are currently unable to ascertain the exact cause of the fire,” authorities stated, adding that forensic teams will examine the premises to uncover the origin of the incident.

Meanwhile, firefighters have been working tirelessly to bring the fire under control, focusing on containing the blaze to the affected floors and preventing it from spreading to adjacent buildings. Their efforts are crucial in safeguarding the lives of people in the vicinity as well as minimizing property damage. The situation remains fluid, with emergency crews maintaining a strong presence at the scene.

In addition to firefighting operations, police personnel have been actively managing crowd control and regulating traffic around Gul Plaza to ensure that rescue efforts proceed unhindered. The authorities have urged the public to avoid the area to facilitate smooth movement for emergency vehicles and to maintain safety for all.

It is worth noting that Gul Plaza is a busy commercial hub, housing numerous offices and retail outlets, which makes the prompt response by fire services all the more critical. The incident has disrupted normal business activities, and officials are expected to provide updates once the situation stabilizes. Investigators will also look into whether any safety lapses or electrical faults contributed to the outbreak of the fire.
