Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif warmly conveyed his Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the people of Pakistan as well as Muslims worldwide, emphasizing the festival as a profound expression of Allah’s mercy and abundant blessings following the sacred month of Ramazan. Marking Eid-ul-Fitr 1447 on Saturday, the prime minister reflected on the spiritual significance of this occasion, which celebrates the end of a month-long period of fasting, prayer, and self-discipline.

In his heartfelt message, Shehbaz Sharif underscored how Muslims across the globe come together to thank Almighty Allah for granting them the joy and fulfillment that Eid brings after enduring the rigors of fasting and devotion. He prayed earnestly for the acceptance of all worship and supplications made during Ramazan, while seeking divine strength to uphold and implement Islamic principles in everyday life. The prime minister highlighted that Eid is not only a time for celebration but also a reminder of Allah’s promise to reward patience and perseverance.

Expanding on the deeper meaning of Eid, he pointed out that the festival renews the spirit of sacrifice, unity, and service to humanity. It also reinforces the sense of collective responsibility that binds communities together. Stressing the importance of social inclusivity, Shehbaz Sharif called on society to ensure that the joy of Eid reaches every segment, especially the economically disadvantaged and vulnerable groups, who often face hardships that can diminish their festive spirit.

To this end, the prime minister highlighted the government’s efforts during Ramazan, particularly the successful implementation of a digital wallet system designed to provide dignified financial support to those in need. This initiative reflects a broader commitment to fostering mutual cooperation and shared responsibility, which he described as essential pillars for the nation’s progress and prosperity. By leveraging technology, the government aims to make assistance more transparent and accessible, thereby preserving the dignity of recipients.

Turning to international concerns, Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the ongoing humanitarian crises in Gaza and other conflict-ridden regions of the Middle East. Despite the joyous nature of Eid, the prime minister acknowledged that the suffering of innocent civilians weighs heavily on the hearts of Pakistanis. He emphasized that these tragic circumstances highlight the urgent need for greater solidarity within the Muslim ummah to promote justice, uphold human dignity, and work toward lasting peace.

Concluding his message, the prime minister offered prayers for peace, security, and stability not only in Pakistan but across the globe. He expressed hope that the spirit of Eid would inspire people to embrace values of tolerance, brotherhood, and harmony. Ultimately, Shehbaz Sharif called upon humanity to unite in collective efforts aimed at fostering goodwill and ensuring a better future for all.
