    In a tragic incident on Wednesday, a vehicle belonging to the convoy of Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s son, Maulana Asjad Mahmood, was involved in a serious accident near Wanda Yarik in Dera Ismail Khan. The crash resulted in the immediate death of two volunteers affiliated with Ansar-ul-Islam, while a third volunteer sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care. The accident has sent shockwaves through the local community and raised concerns about the safety measures in place during political convoy movements.

    The two volunteers who lost their lives hailed from the Lakki Marwat district, a region known for its active participation in various religious and political groups. law enforcement officials at the scene, the accident occurred under circumstances that are still being thoroughly investigated. Rescue teams responded promptly after receiving the distress call, transporting the deceased and the injured individual to the closest medical facility where doctors are currently providing treatment to the wounded volunteer.

The investigation aims to uncover whether any negligence, road conditions, or mechanical failure contributed to the accident. This incident highlights the risks faced by security and volunteer personnel who accompany political figures during their travels, especially in volatile or challenging terrains.

    Maulana Asjad Mahmood, who was traveling in the convoy at the time, was reportedly unharmed, but the accident has sparked a wave of condolences from various political and social circles. Ansar-ul-Islam, the organization to which the deceased volunteers belonged, has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of its members and called for enhanced safety protocols to protect those who serve in such capacities. This unfortunate event underscores the need for greater vigilance and precautionary measures during political processions and public gatherings.

    As the investigation continues, local authorities have urged the public to remain calm and allow the legal process to unfold without interference. The incident serves as a somber reminder of the dangers associated with political activities in the region and the sacrifices made by volunteers who support these movements.
