Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif expressed his strongest condemnation on Wednesday regarding the recent attacks targeting Kuwait, highlighting the tragic loss of innocent lives. He extended heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the violence and offered prayers for the swift recovery of those injured in the incidents. This reaffirmation of solidarity underscores Pakistan’s deep concern over the security challenges faced by its Gulf neighbor.

In a significant gesture of diplomatic engagement, the Prime Minister held a detailed telephone conversation with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah. During this exchange, he conveyed Pakistan’s unwavering support to the people of Kuwait, describing the relationship between the two countries as one rooted in brotherhood and mutual respect. The discussion reflected the importance Pakistan places on maintaining strong ties with Kuwait, especially during times of crisis.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the critical need for all nations in the region to collaborate closely in order to safeguard peace and stability. He underscored that resolving differences through dialogue and diplomatic channels remains the most effective path forward. This call for unity comes amid ongoing regional tensions, highlighting Pakistan’s commitment to fostering an environment where disputes are addressed constructively rather than through conflict.

The conversation between the two leaders was marked by warmth and mutual goodwill, as they also took the opportunity to exchange greetings on the joyous occasion of Eid ul Fitr. Both leaders extended their best wishes for peace, prosperity, and well-being not only to their respective countries but also to the wider Muslim community around the world. This exchange reaffirmed the shared cultural and religious bonds that continue to strengthen Pakistan-Kuwait relations.

In addition to his message to the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his respectful regards to the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, further highlighting the high-level diplomatic respect between the two nations. He also reiterated his invitation to the Crown Prince to visit Pakistan officially at a time convenient for him, signaling Pakistan’s eagerness to deepen bilateral cooperation and dialogue.

Both leaders concluded their conversation by agreeing to maintain close contact, ensuring that communication channels remain open as they navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead. This interaction not only reflects the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Kuwait but also highlights the importance of regional solidarity in times of adversity.
