IRGC Initiates 30th Phase of ‘Operation True Promise 4’ Targeting US and Israeli Bases

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has officially commenced the 30th wave of its ongoing military campaign known as “Operation True Promise 4.” This latest offensive phase has been designated “Ali un Waliullah,” a title chosen to honor the recent elevation of Mojtaba Khamenei as Iran’s new Supreme Leader, reflecting the regime’s continued consolidation of power and ideological symbolism.

In this intensified round of hostilities, the IRGC employed a sophisticated combination of missile launches and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) strikes. These coordinated attacks specifically targeted strategic military installations belonging to the United States and Israel throughout the Middle Eastern region. The use of both missile and drone technology underscores the IRGC’s evolving tactical capabilities and its intent to exert pressure on adversaries through multi-dimensional warfare.

It is important to understand that this operation forms part of a broader series of military actions that the IRGC has been conducting under the “True Promise” banner, which aims to reinforce Iran’s regional influence and retaliate against what it perceives as foreign aggression. The naming of this phase after a prominent religious figure signals the ideological underpinnings that continue to drive Tehran’s military strategies.

Meanwhile, the announcement of Mojtaba Khamenei’s appointment as Supreme Leader has added a new layer of significance to these attacks. Mojtaba, son of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, represents a continuation of the current leadership’s policies, and the IRGC’s dedication of this operation to him highlights the intertwining of military actions with internal political developments within Iran.

These strikes come amid heightened tensions in the region, where the presence of US and Israeli forces remains a contentious issue. The IRGC’s persistent targeting of these bases reflects ongoing hostilities and the broader geopolitical struggle for dominance in the Middle East. Observers note that such waves of attacks are part of Iran’s strategic messaging, aimed at demonstrating its military reach and resolve to both domestic and international audiences.
