Pakistan Army Escalates Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq, Strikes 50 Militant Hideouts Along Border

The Pakistan Army has significantly ramped up its counterterrorism campaign along the volatile Pak-Afghan border under the banner of Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq. This intensified military offensive has focused on dismantling the entrenched hideouts of various militant groups, including the Afghan Taliban, Fitna al-Khawarij, and Fitna al-Hindustan. These groups have long exploited the porous border regions to launch attacks and destabilize security within Pakistan.

The recent phase of the operation targeted nearly 50 locations spread across key border sectors such as Qila Saifullah, Chaman, Sambaza, Ghadwana, Jani, and Ghazni. These areas have historically served as strongholds and logistical bases for militants operating across the frontier. The military employed heavy weaponry and conducted precision night raids on March 3 and 4, aiming to deliver a decisive blow to the militant infrastructure that threatens regional peace.

A senior security official emphasized the strategic importance of these operations, explaining that the targeted zones were being used as launchpads for cross-border terrorism, directly jeopardizing Pakistan’s internal security. The raids have inflicted substantial casualties and destroyed critical militant resources, thereby disrupting their capacity to orchestrate future attacks. The success of these strikes reflects the Pakistan Army’s commitment to neutralizing threats before they can materialize on Pakistani soil.

Furthermore, officials reiterated that Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq is far from over. The military leadership has vowed to maintain relentless pressure on militant networks until all strategic objectives are fully achieved. This ongoing campaign represents a sustained and coordinated effort to eradicate militant sanctuaries along the border, ensuring long-term stability and security for the region.

It is worth noting that these operations come amid heightened security concerns in the border areas, where militant groups have frequently exploited the rugged terrain and unregulated crossings to evade law enforcement. The Pakistan Army’s proactive measures under Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq demonstrate a clear resolve to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and protect its citizens from the persistent threat of terrorism.
