Aleema Khan Highlights Missing Medical Report, Demands Urgent Care for Imran at Shifa International

Aleema Khan, the sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has raised serious concerns regarding the medical treatment of her brother, stating that the court has not been provided with his full medical report. Speaking from the federal capital, she criticized the Interior Minister for allegedly providing false information on television and expressed deep mistrust in the government’s official statements about Imran Khan’s health condition.

In her statement, Aleema emphasized the urgent need for Imran Khan to be transferred to Shifa International Hospital, one of the country’s leading medical facilities, for comprehensive treatment. She insisted that family members must be allowed to be present throughout his medical care to ensure transparency and proper attention. This demand comes after the government reportedly rejected the appointment of Imran’s personal physician, Dr. Asim, a move Aleema described as unacceptable and detrimental to her brother’s well-being.

Highlighting the gravity of the situation, Aleema Khan warned that failure to provide immediate and adequate medical care could lead to a significant escalation in protests organized by their supporters. She conveyed the urgency by stating that Imran Khan’s life is at serious risk if the current neglect continues. Her remarks underscore the tense atmosphere surrounding the former prime minister’s health and the political implications tied to his treatment.

Furthermore, Aleema shed light on Imran Khan’s long-standing stance on peace and dialogue. She recalled how he has consistently rejected violence and conflict, advocating instead for resolving disputes through conversation and mutual understanding. She cautioned that certain groups are attempting to sow discord among Muslim communities, but Imran remains committed to fostering unity and harmony through peaceful means rather than confrontation.

This development adds another layer to the ongoing political turmoil in Pakistan, where Imran Khan’s health and legal battles have become focal points of national attention. The insistence on proper medical care and transparency reflects broader concerns about the treatment of political figures and the role of the judiciary and government institutions in safeguarding their rights. As the situation unfolds, all eyes remain on the authorities to respond promptly and responsibly to these urgent calls for action.
