On September 2, security forces conducted an intelligence-driven operation in Kalat district, resulting in the elimination of 12 militants associated with the Indian proxy group known as Fitna al-Hindustan, the military’s media wing announced on Wednesday.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the operation was launched after receiving credible intelligence about the presence of terrorists linked to India in the region. In a swift and effective response, all 12 militants active in the area were neutralized.

The ISPR further explained that the terrorists’ hideout was located through surveillance efforts and subsequently destroyed during the operation. Ammunition and improvised explosive devices recovered from the militants were also safely destroyed on site.

Meanwhile, a clearance operation is ongoing to ensure the removal of any remaining militants in the vicinity. The military emphasized that the counter-terrorism campaign, conducted by security forces and law enforcement agencies under the Azm-e-Istehkam initiative, will persist at full strength.

In a significant development, the security forces reaffirmed their commitment to continuing operations until all terrorism supported and facilitated by foreign elements is eradicated from the country.
