Cambridge International Education has unveiled the results for its June 2026 examination series, with more than 100,000 students from Pakistan among those receiving their scores. This year, over 100,000 candidates from more than 850 schools across Pakistan took Cambridge International AS & A Level, Cambridge O Level, and IGCSE exams.
Globally, nearly 368,000 students were issued Cambridge International AS & A Level results today, while the Cambridge IGCSE and O Level results will be released to over 315,000 students worldwide on August 18. Pakistani candidates appeared for all three exam types: AS & A Level, O Level, and IGCSE.
Among the most popular subjects in Pakistan were Physics, Mathematics, Business, Chemistry, and Computer Science. Rod Smith, Group Managing Director for International Education at Cambridge, extended congratulations to all students receiving their results this week and next. He highlighted the increasing preference for AS & A Levels, noting that these qualifications blend in-depth subject knowledge with skills highly valued by universities and employers.
Smith emphasized that the continued growth in AS & A Level enrollment reflects how well this combination meets the demands of a world increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence. Meanwhile, Uzma Yousuf, Country Director for Pakistan at Cambridge International Education, acknowledged the challenging circumstances many students faced this year, including regional tensions and disruptions, making their achievements particularly significant.
Yousuf encouraged learners to take pride in their accomplishments and expressed gratitude to teachers, parents, and school communities throughout Pakistan for their support. She underscored Cambridge’s philosophy that education extends beyond exam results, focusing on equipping young people with the knowledge, confidence, and skills necessary to succeed in higher education, careers, and life.
Cambridge International qualifications are widely recognized by universities, organizations, and government bodies worldwide. New UCAS application data revealed that 98% of Cambridge International A Level students who applied to UK universities in the 2025 cycle received at least one offer. Smith concluded by stating that whether students pursue studies domestically or abroad, Cambridge International qualifications provide access to opportunities and prepare learners for success in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
