Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif delivered a strong message on Thursday, affirming the unwavering strength and readiness of Pakistan’s armed forces to counter any hostile actions against the country. Speaking in the wake of recent unprovoked cross-border firing incidents by Afghanistan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Prime Minister reassured the nation that Pakistan’s military is fully capable of defending the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He emphasized that the people of Pakistan stand united alongside their armed forces, ready to support any measures necessary to safeguard the nation’s security. The Prime Minister highlighted the commitment of the military to protect the homeland from any form of aggression, whether internal or external, underlining that no threat will be tolerated or left unanswered.

Under the leadership of Army Chief and Chief of Defence Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Pakistan armed forces have been performing their duties with exceptional professionalism and a strong sense of national pride. Shehbaz Sharif pointed out that the military is equipped with advanced training, modern defense strategies, and a high level of operational readiness, making them well-prepared to face any challenges that may arise.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister made it clear that Pakistan remains committed to peace and stability in the region but will not compromise on its defense. Every act of aggression against the country will be met with a firm and decisive response, ensuring that the nation’s sovereignty is preserved at all costs. This stance reflects Pakistan’s long-standing policy of promoting peaceful relations while maintaining a robust defense posture.

In conclusion, Shehbaz Sharif reiterated that the entire nation is united in its support for the armed forces, standing shoulder to shoulder in defense of Pakistan’s borders and national interests. The Prime Minister’s remarks come at a critical time when regional tensions demand a clear and resolute response, reinforcing the country’s determination to protect its peace and security against any hostile designs.
