Croatia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Dr Gordan Grlić Radman, arrived in Islamabad on Thursday morning for a one-day official visit focused on enhancing bilateral relations between Croatia and Pakistan.
Upon arrival at the airport, Dr Radman was warmly welcomed by the Director General Europe-I of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs along with other senior officials, marking the start of a significant diplomatic engagement.
During his brief but strategically important stay, Dr Radman is set to hold comprehensive delegation-level discussions with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar. These talks aim to explore new opportunities for cooperation while reviewing the current political, economic, and diplomatic ties between the two countries.
In a significant development, the Croatian minister will also meet with Pakistan’s top leadership to exchange views on regional issues and shared concerns, underscoring the importance of this visit in the broader geopolitical context.
Pakistan regards its relationship with Croatia, a prominent European Union member state, as highly valuable. Islamabad is keen to deepen bilateral cooperation, particularly in areas such as trade, investment, and cultural exchange, which are expected to benefit both nations.
