14 Prisoners Escape Adiala Jail Using Chili Powder Against Police

In a daring escape, 14 prisoners managed to flee from Adiala Jail after incapacitating police officers by throwing chili powder into their eyes. This tactic temporarily blinded the security personnel, allowing the inmates to break free from custody. The incident has raised serious concerns about the security measures in place at one of Pakistan’s most prominent detention centers.

Adiala Jail, located near Rawalpindi, is known for housing high-profile and dangerous criminals. The escape underscores vulnerabilities in prison security protocols, prompting authorities to review and strengthen their operational procedures. Such breaches not only threaten public safety but also challenge the credibility of law enforcement agencies responsible for maintaining order.

In response, officials have launched a manhunt to recapture the fugitives and are investigating how the inmates obtained and used chili powder as a weapon. The event has sparked a broader discussion on prison reforms and the need for enhanced training and equipment for jail staff to prevent similar incidents in the future.
