In a notable address to the National Assembly, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed profound pride in Pakistan’s elevated status on the global stage. He remarked that the country has been bestowed with immense honor and recognition, a blessing he attributed to divine favor. The prime minister emphasized that such respect is rare and that it would require a lifetime of gratitude to fully acknowledge this distinguished position.

Highlighting the historical context, Shehbaz Sharif pointed out that while centuries may pass, not all nations achieve the level of esteem Pakistan currently enjoys. He underscored that Pakistan’s name resonates internationally, reflecting the country’s growing influence and respect worldwide. This acknowledgment, he suggested, is a testament to the nation’s resilience and progress.

In a significant development, the prime minister called on members of the National Assembly to adopt a unanimous resolution celebrating Pakistan’s global standing. He argued that such a collective endorsement would send a powerful message of solidarity and national cohesion to the international community. This appeal for unity was framed as essential for reinforcing Pakistan’s image abroad.

Addressing political opponents, Shehbaz Sharif urged them to set aside their differences when it comes to matters of national importance. He stressed that maintaining unity is crucial for the country’s progress and stability. His call for bipartisan cooperation highlighted the need for a united front to safeguard Pakistan’s interests and continue its upward trajectory on the world stage.
