Veteran Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has officially confirmed that he will be marrying his partner, Gauri Spratt, next month. The 61-year-old star is preparing to enter a new phase of his life with the upcoming nuptials scheduled for July 5.
In an interview with Variety India, Aamir Khan acknowledged the reports, stating, “The news about the marriage is true. It’s on July 5.” The wedding is expected to be an intimate affair, focusing on simplicity rather than grandeur.
Details shared on Instagram by Hauterrfly revealed that the ceremony will be a private event, attended only by close friends and family. A source close to the couple indicated that they plan to keep the occasion low-key, opting for a straightforward signing ceremony at home instead of a lavish celebration.
Aamir Khan publicly introduced Gauri Spratt during his 60th birthday celebrations in Mumbai last year. The couple has reportedly been living together for over a year, building a stable and happy relationship.
This marriage will mark Aamir Khan’s third. His first marriage was to Reena Dutta in 1986, which ended in 2002. They have two children together, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. Subsequently, he married film director Kiran Rao in 2005. The couple separated in 2021 but continue to co-parent their son, Azad Rao Khan.
