Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi officially opened the Dalazak Road–Kabootar Chowk underpass in Peshawar, a significant milestone in the province’s ambitious urban development agenda. This new infrastructure project aims to ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity in one of the city’s busiest areas, reflecting the government’s commitment to modernizing the provincial capital.

During the inauguration event, the chief minister emphasized that an investment of Rs200 billion has been earmarked for Peshawar, which will bring about a comprehensive transformation of the city’s infrastructure. He expressed optimism that these funds will facilitate visible improvements in roads, public facilities, and urban planning, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Furthermore, Sohail Afridi assured that financial allocations for all major development initiatives in Peshawar have been secured, signaling that the city is on the cusp of rapid progress. This underpass is just one example of the many projects underway to support the city’s growth and modernization efforts.

In a broader political context, the chief minister also touched upon the ongoing aspirations of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan, affirming their steadfast commitment to justice and truth. This statement underscored the provincial government’s awareness of regional issues alongside its focus on local development.
