Punjab Police has implemented a significant reshuffle involving Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) across multiple districts, following the endorsement of IG Punjab Abdul Karim. This administrative overhaul covers key operational, legal, and field positions to enhance policing effectiveness.
In the new assignments, Sajjad Ali has been designated as SDPO Shakargarh in Narowal, while Nasrullah Khan Chattha will serve as SDPO Sangla Hill in Nankana Sahib. Tariq Jameel has been posted as SDPO Safdarabad, Sheikhupura, and Fakhar Zaman Khan has taken charge as SDPO Barah Garh, Nankana Sahib.
Within the legal and field sectors, Shahid Nawaz Wattoo has been appointed DSP Legal for the Sheikhupura Region. Sajid Mehmood Sahl will serve as SDPO Jaranwala in Faisalabad, and Mirza Yousaf Raza has been assigned as SDPO City Sialkot.
In Lahore, Tariq Mehmood has been assigned the role of DSP Dolphin Squad, Cantt. Meanwhile, Muhammad Hassan Akhtar and Ahmed Usman have been posted as DSP Legal in Okara and Multan’s South Punjab region, respectively. Mudassar Kaleem has been appointed DSP Legal-III in Multan.
Hashim Mahmood has been posted as DSP Headquarters Special Branch in Gujranwala, while Sanaullah, previously on the waiting list, has now been assigned as DSP RIB Gujranwala.
The official notification detailing all the transfers and postings was issued under the approval of IG Punjab Abdul Karim, marking a strategic move to strengthen the provincial police framework.
