Despite Euphoria’s status as one of HBO’s most talked-about series, recent remarks from creator Sam Levinson, the cast, and network executives indicate that a fourth season is not guaranteed. Currently, HBO has neither announced a renewal nor cancellation of the series, leaving fans in suspense.
In an interview before the season 3 finale, Levinson revealed he has “no plans” for another season but did not completely dismiss the possibility. Production of season 3 faced significant delays due to industry strikes, scheduling conflicts, and personal tragedies, including the deaths of Angus Cloud in 2023 and Eric Dane more recently. Levinson has expressed a desire to honor these losses while delivering a strong season, adding complexity to any future plans.
Additionally, some characters may not return if the series continues. Jacob Elordi’s character, Nate Jacobs, concluded his storyline in season 3, with Elordi describing his exit as bittersweet.
