In a significant development, Saudi Arabia has announced new visiting hours for Riyaz-ul-Jannah, the revered area within Masjid-e-Nabawi. This change aims to facilitate smoother access for pilgrims and worshippers who visit this sacred site. Riyaz-ul-Jannah holds immense spiritual importance as it is believed to be a part of paradise and is located between the Prophet Muhammad’s (S.A.W) tomb and his pulpit.

Masjid-e-Nabawi, situated in the holy city of Medina, is the second holiest site in Islam after Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. Millions of Muslims from around the world visit this mosque annually, especially during Hajj and Umrah seasons. Adjusting visiting timings helps manage the flow of visitors, ensuring a more organized and respectful environment for prayer and reflection.

These new timings are expected to improve the overall experience for pilgrims, allowing them to spend more meaningful time in this sacred space. The authorities’ decision reflects ongoing efforts to enhance religious tourism infrastructure and accommodate the growing number of visitors to Saudi Arabia’s holy sites. This update underscores the kingdom’s commitment to preserving the sanctity and accessibility of its religious landmarks.
