EDC Las Vegas is set for a significant transformation in 2027, introducing a new 12-day ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ format that divides the festival into two separate weekends. This change aims to offer attendees a less crowded and potentially more budget-friendly experience.
Traditionally held over a single weekend, EDC Las Vegas 2027 will now take place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway across two weekends. The first segment, known as EDC Dusk, will run from May 14 to May 16, followed by EDC Dawn from May 21 to May 23. Fans seeking the complete festival experience can purchase the ‘Dusk Till Dawn Experience,’ which extends from May 13 to May 24 and includes additional EDC-themed events throughout Las Vegas between the two weekends.
One of the most notable changes is the decision to lower the festival’s capacity for both weekends. This adjustment is intended to reduce overcrowding, provide more space on the dance floors, and improve the flow of movement between stages. Additionally, it is expected to alleviate strain on local travel, accommodation, and traffic during the event.
Affordability is a key focus in this revamp. Pasquale Rotella, founder of Insomniac, has indicated that ticket prices will be closer to those charged nearly ten years ago, aiming to make the festival more accessible for both longtime fans and newcomers.
Tickets for EDC 2027 will be available starting Friday, May 22, at 12 p.m. PT. General admission passes for one weekend will begin at $399.99, while two-weekend GA passes will start at $599.99. VIP tickets will range from $899.99 for a single weekend to $1,699.99 for access to both weekends. Payment plans will also be offered.
Rotella described this new approach as “the next evolution of EDC,” emphasizing the goal of creating a more immersive journey. The format also provides headliners with the flexibility to perform during one or both weekends. He stated, “We wanted to reimagine EDC as a new type of immersive journey across 12 days and two consecutive weekend celebrations in one city we love.”
This announcement follows the success of EDC Las Vegas 2026, which sold out and attracted hundreds of thousands of attendees celebrating 30 years Under the Electric Sky. The 2026 festival featured over 450 artists, including Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Peggy Gou, FISHER, Charlotte de Witte, The Prodigy, and Kaskade.
Additional information regarding the 2027 lineup, camping options, Hotel EDC, and citywide events will be revealed at a later date.
