    Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Begins Official Visit to Azerbaijan for World Urban Forum

    Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has embarked on a three-day official trip to Azerbaijan, where she will represent Pakistan at the upcoming World Urban Forum in Baku. This significant international event is scheduled to take place from May 17 to May 20, bringing together global leaders to discuss urban development and sustainability.

    In a notable development during her visit, Maryam Nawaz is set to hold a meeting with the President of Azerbaijan on May 17. This high-level engagement underscores the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. Additionally, the Punjab chief minister will be honored as a special state guest, reflecting the warm diplomatic ties between the two countries.

    As part of her official duties, Maryam Nawaz will deliver a keynote address at the World Leaders Summit, hosted at the Baku Olympic Stadium. Her speech is expected to highlight Pakistan’s role and contributions within the global urban development agenda, emphasizing the country’s commitment to sustainable growth and international cooperation.

    Accompanying the chief minister on this important visit are Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb and Information Minister Azma Bukhari, who will support the delegation throughout the forum. This visit marks a significant opportunity for Punjab to engage with international stakeholders and showcase Pakistan’s initiatives on a global platform.
